Prices for Dry Boat Storage

I live in A :D rkansas and I am thinking of dry storage for my boat @ Lake Tenkiller in Oklahoma. The guy wants $285 per year. The place is real clean and kept up nice, but it has no eletric. Which really is no problem though since my parents have a place on the lake. I was just wanting to know is this a reasonable price to pay?

What exactly do you mean when you say dry storage.<br /><br />I have my boat in storage. It sits on a rack and they put it in and out of the water with a forklift. $1300 per year at Lake Wylie, SC. That is the cheapest place on the lake. Places closer to the main part of the lake are around $1900 per year.

i pay 25 bucks a month here in largo, fl to store my 1960 glasspar on its trailer in a fenced in field behind a appliance store, ifyour local, look up "hansens appliances " in largo.. cheep cheep cheep<br /><br />by the way, that 285 a year seem real reasonable<br /><br />m ike

WVIT 100, I mean exactly what I say DRY STORAGE, it is a hole slough of metal buildings separated individually. You park you boat in a metal stall that has a roof over it!

$200.00 per month +/- for outside in & out rack storage in Key Largo Fl. Higher in the Miami area.<br /><br />I have seen ramp fees go from free to now $10.00 a launch at PUBLIC TAX PAYER SUPPORTED ramps in Miami.

When I hear someone around here talk about dry storage they are talking about a building full of boats on racks that are put in and out of the water by a fork lift. We call ahead and they have the boat out at a slip when you get there. They don't sit on trailers. There are places around here that will let you park your trailer on their lot but those are not actually on the lake.
