Re: Primer Bulb for Ficht Outboard

If fuel lines are not leaking and stays connected at all times, it should not be needed to use the primer bulb on any outboard.
On carbed engines, the fuel vaporizes from the carbs during storage, and might need a re-fill by using the bulb.
The Ficht engines have a sealed vapor tank that normally stays full in addition to the pressurized injector circuit and as such may not need the priming.

Just to add to my earlier:
If you change some in-line filter/separator or install a 'dry' engine, you will need a priming system to get fuel to the engine!
