My original primer solenoid valve (red valve) developed a crack. I put in a replacement that was an aftermarket brand. It worked for a couple months but, now gas gurgles up through the red valve when I push the key in to start. The engine starts and runs fine. I just don't like fuel spilling out during cold starts. Is this a case where OEM or Sierra is needed. I ordered a new OEM red valve with the O-ring on it to try to fix it. It looks like if I need the whole kit it would have to be Sierra. Anyone else have this problem? How did you fix it? Thanks.
