basically boat ran great the other day ,took it out today stalled at idle and at higher speeds after a minute or 2, could only keep it running in neutral with a fair amount of throttle. i noticed tonight the red lever was open about 1/4". could that have flooded it causing the stalling? thank you

Not completely sure how it is plumbed on your engine. It does make sense that if in the manual position it could allow air to be sucked into the fuel line which would cause running problems or flooding if it's piped from the outlet side of the pump. Best of luck. Rick.

If not properly in the 'run' position, risk is high it might leak and give flooding symptoms.
