Early 2000's Yamaha OX 66
2 stroke
250 HP
fuel injected
don't know model # ( new too me ) no tags readable outside , inside i keep looking for a stamped tag ) constantly working on engine , nothing jumps out indicating ,

Ran good 2 weeks ago ,

last week splashed normally first turn of key fires and idles , this time constantly stalling , when I was able too get into gear little throttle ran like crap

water in fuel seperator base ( how it go it I am still figuring out ) not many areas , Bad gas or filler cap , vent , Water seperator is exposed eliments , also fellow GW owner indicated water / fill issue at gunnel indent , Boat not covered totally since I am constantly working on it , TONS OF RAIN HERE IN FL , daily plus hurricane
I did removed fill hose from tank , strong water from hose all around fill , nothing entering . Vent angle will not allow water

Water seperator Racor 3232 had 1/2 of the plastic base filled with water ( new changed last month )

in line engine gas filter primary ( yamaha ) was changed weeks ago ( emptied no water

SEPRATATOR DID ITS JOB ,-
NOT TAKING ANY CHANCES
,
Pumped out boats fuel tank into a portable 6 gallon plastic fuel tank- thankfull not much fuel ( bottom of boats tank clean) Will be checking later today water if any in portable transfer tank

FUEL PICK UP
spins , not stationary , Tank is a 30 gallon plastic tank , , Fittings metal or aluminum
little force pick up can slide up , not out base of pu stops it . has few O rings towards top , When pushed down I hear O rigns seating , IS THIS NORMAL too spin ?

Emptied VST tank , - no water - no water made it past seperator

Presently all hoses disconnected
Once all hoses are back ,
fresh fuel in tank ,
prime water sepertor with fuel
fill plastic cup with fuel of the inline gas filter primary too engine .

fair amount of fuel emptied out of VST tank , - will it prime on its own by cranking engine & ball , - Shradder valve on top of VST tank ,
Since all hoses off , there is air in all lines , Should I be releasing shradder valve while cranking engine ? until fuel comes out ?
Once everything is back, engine firing , run a seperate tank with sea foam too clean injectors or other ?? advise

THANKS AS USUAL
