I am replacing my old Yam 1990 225cv that finally died by a 150cv 4 stroke from 2008.
But I have to replace the guide exhaust on the new one (things would be too easy if not...), I think that's about the worst part to replace but got some training disassembling the old engine and probably know how to do it.
But on the old engine I did not figure out probably one stupid thing: how to remove the gear shift assembly at the end from the guide exhaust, pull the grommet up outside of the guide exhaust? It seems a bit different on the new engine, any advises/procedure to do it?
Sorry if the question is stupid... but prefer to ask since I don't want to mess up or approximate with the new engine
