I started a couple of threads on here over the past couple of months regarding my Mercury, 2004, 200hp (carb) motor, serial number 0T92238. My problem was, when the motor warmed up, it would lose some power (drop from 5000 rpm, 45 mph down to 4000 rpm, 35 - 40 mph). I checked compression, spark, fuel pressure, vacuum pressure, cleaned carbs, replaced plugs, none of which helped. Finally, I purchased one CDM and started rotating it until, on the second rotation, BAM! Motor now runs great regardless of how warm it gets. I truly appreciate all of your input! Safe boating to all of you!

Re: 2005 200 hp Merc; Dirty Carb?
Sounds more like a electrical problem such as a bad CDM module or a defective trigger....

See you found it!!! Good job!!!!!
