I am having problems starting my motor. When i crank it over it just barely pops then cuts out. I think there is a problem in the fuel system. When I put a little fuel directly in the carbs and a squirt in each cylinder it will run for a few seconds then cut out. The few seconds it runs it sounds real good. Any Suggestions? Thank You!!!

Sounds like the carburetors are fouled ,possibly with gummy deposits.Has the motor sat idle(out of use for a time?)<br />You can check to see if the fuel pump is moving fuel at cranking speeds by disconnecting the dischrge hose and routing into a container while cranking.
