69 105 hp chrysler.
Idle adjustment

Upper carb: turning adjustment screw clockwise has no affect on motor, keeps running the same.

Lower carb: turning adjustment screw clockwise causes motor to stall.

Adjustments on lower carb seem to have normal affect on motor but upper carb adjustments seem to have no affect on motor.

Any thoughts?

Re: problem with carb 105hp

Placing my hand over lower carb causes engine to stall in about 2 sec, over upper carb engine stalls in about 6 sec. both spill out gas from carb when I remove my hand, the upper carb more than the lower.

Re: problem with carb 105hp

Check the snyc on your throttle plates, both should be fully closed at idle. There is a link arm connecting carb plates. Make adjustment here if need be. The carb that won't respond could be slightly open at idle. That will cause the problem you have.
