1996 60hp Evinrude E60TLEDR

Racing Motor
Losing Proper Timing


***Items Checked and Corrections Made***

***Racing Motor***
***Items Checked***
All fuel lines and fuel pump for leaks and cracks.
Carbs for leaks around bowl
Checked butterflys to make sure completely closed
Checked for proper adjustment on N/V

***Corrections Made***
Replaced all fuel lines to and from the engine including primer bulb
Tore down and rebuilt carbs
Did a complete link and sync

***Uncontroled Timing***
***Items Checked***
Timer base
Link and sync
Timing Ring
Power Pack (Fast Start)

***Corrections Made***
Replaced Power Pack (Didn't need to Just did)
Realigned and epoxied the Timing Ring on the Flywheel Hub.
