Problems with Cummins 6BTA 5.9 M-2 , 300 hp engines

In preparation of a law suit against Cummins Engine Company, I would like to hear from anybody who has had problems with these engines, built before 1994.<br />If I can find enough people, a class action suit would be a possibility.

I am aware of a person who replaced 11 (yes eleven) 300Bs. He sued Cummins also. The engines constantly overheated. I forwarded you your message to a person who should be able to give more information. I asked him to contact you. There was also another case of a different boat with similar trouble in the same marina. Cummins convinced him to "upgrade" at some cost to him.<br /><br />Bottom Line - You probably have a very good case and are not the first to sue.
