I cleaned out my carb and it all looked good, my motor starts right up and took it out on the river. I pushed forward the throttle and the boat takes right off, ran around the the river and throttle back to a cruse. I went to give the gas again and it will not run fast only slow speed, i pushed on the fuel and the then it took off again, then when i slowed down and it will not speed up again, it doesnot choke it self out, it sounds like it is not getting the fuel. I was told if i pump the ball and it gets hard then the fuel pump diaphram is good. I watch fuel running through the clear hose to the plugs or above the plugs. I am puzzled. Donot know where to go from here. Starts great, idles great and runns low speed great. What am I missing.
I check my tank connections and they are great, the line in the tank is good and the filter on the end of each line is clean.
The air valves in the tanks are open and work. I also pulled one plug wire off and the motor still runs, either one and the motor still runs. The linkage is also ok

When the primer/squeeze bulb gets hard, that only tells you the carb. bowl is full. The pump could still be bad.PS: If the engine picks up and runs faster while squeezing the bulb the fuel pump is in need of repair.
