Prongs on my Garmin are shot... can the cannon plug be replaced?

Probably not, but you can buy a new cable from Garmin or have Garmin install a new socket on your unit.

That's what I figured. I had West Marine send it off to Garmin. They are replacing the hub on the back of the display for $180 plus freight. I'm picking up a new power supply chord from Ebay for $22.

It's the 498 GPSmap so it's much cheaper than replacing the whole unit.
