Okay I am currently running a 3 blade, right spinning alluminum 14.5 x 19P on my Glastron 175SX.

With 2 guys and regular gear My top end is running WOT 43mph @ 4800rpm's trimmed just below halfway, it does 30mph @ 3,000rpm's trimmed just below 1/2way. This is clocked using the speedo on the boat...I will clock it with GPS the next time I am out.

Does the prop/boat's current performance meet the expected results with this setup?

My hole shot is good in my opinion but if it could be better without sacrificing too much top end I would consider a new prop. Any suggestions?

Max recommended RPM for that 3.0L is 4400-4800 so you are already right at the top. Going to a lower pitch would give you more hole shot, but you run the risk of over-revving with a light load. A 4 blade 18 will give a bit more bite with about the same RPM.

Sounds about like how my 3.0 powered 17.5 footer runs with a 19P.

Your top speed sounds dead nuts....your 3000 rpm speed sounds like a WAAAAY overly optimistic speedo, but if by chance it is also correct, then your prop rocks.

I think I need to double check the speed at 3000rpm. I must have misread something or plum forgot.
