prop advice

I have a 1989 195 sea sprite with a mercruiser i/o 140. I busted up my prop today in shallow water. I was able to get back in ok, thank god. I now want to change the prop and i was wondering what pitch would be the best for the boat. I would like a little added speed the one i have now is 141/2 19 if i went to a 21 or a 23 pitch do you think i would get what im looking for? Also, now when i spin the prop by hand its smooth but i here a click,click,click is this normal i dont remember if it did it befor. Would the hub cause that or is it something in the lower unit? Its an alfa 1 sterndrive thank you! mike

The one`s I`ve worked on use a 13 3/4 x 21. What is your wide open throttle rpm now with that prop?

I cant tell you that because im still breaking the engine in and ive only went 3500 so far. I should hit the 10 hour mark next trip . Thats why i wanted to definately chage it cause im gonna be opening it up soon. i think for that motor its 4400 4800 if that helps. thank you
