Did some research and I find that the new 40 hp 4 strokes are shipped with the same prop from factory.Don't know what dia and pitch it is, but it mentions that if you find that one of different pitch more suits your needs, after water test, the dealer will swap it out for another of same quality.I'm sure if you buy new,and decide that you need to prop up or down that your seller will allow exchange if you don't find bottom and scuff it up.
