Prop change?

The prop that came on this boat was a 15/17 #814612 looks like it might have been the original ? We dive,and or fish. So the boat is heavy.heavy to begin with and then the gear too.
I want to replace the prop. Should I keep this size prop or go a little different? I have a temporary prop on there now. It is just a little smaller.and seems to be slower. Thought maybe just a little larger might be better because of the weight ?

You should read the stickys at the top of the prop forum.
get us as much info as possible. You wouldn't normally go to a "larger" prop do to heavy weight.
A smaller prop would give the motor more power and any change would depend on the performance and size of the present prop.
We will need a working tach and a gps for speed.
