I have a 1984 Johnson 25HP outboard and was wondering what/IF any different prop choices other than stock size are available.

Its the non thru exhaust prop style. I know there's many choices of thru hub exhaust like most modern outboards have but I can't seem to find any of the older style like I have.

Other than diameter and pitch, there's number of blades....fewer blades more speed, less torque; more blades slight clip on high end speed but better hole shots and power stability.
Check right here on iBoats.com. You'll find a Michigan Match, 3-blade for about $90. Not bad.
Solas is another great prop for the $$$.

Is there any stainless steel options available? All the ones I see on here are aluminum props.

I don't know of any stainless in that small a series.
Why SS?

The durability is better on stainless props vs aluminum and my current stock prop is dinged up and all. I just got the boat a few weeks ago and if I replace the prop I want something that will last.

Do you boat where soft contact is likely?
Yes, the ss will hold up better but if hard contact is likely it could become very expensive really easily.
A saw the gator women on tv maneuvering in the shallows with their 90? Tohatsu, apparently a relatively light hit on a log or stump
the ss prop was untouched but the gear case was split wide open so you could stick your finger in and twirl the gears.
I do notice that the swampers do run ss props I'm sure they resist mud, sand and vegetation but I wonder about stumps and the gear case.Maybe the Tohatsu gear case is fragile.
