Prop compatbility question: Michigan Wheel Raptor 14.25 X R 19 Pitch SS Prop:

Some one gave me a Michigan Wheel Raptor 14.25 X R 19 Pitch SS Prop. The model number on the hub is 013088. I think the prop is about 15 years old and it's in perfect condition.

Can you tell me what type of sterndrive or outboard engine this prop fits on?

My guess would be a Mercruiser outdrive, or Mecury large gearcase Outboard...

I am running the 14.25 x R 19 pitch ss on my boat. It is a Chaparral 198C with a 228 Mercruiser, 1981 vintage. Great prop, serves me well. Although I would like to go to a smaller pitch to get more rpms at lower speeds to get a skier out of the hole. I really don't care about top end speed. With the above prop and trimmed out I get 52 mph.

check to see if the splines match mercruiser, omc or volvo. you can also take the prop to a shop and have the hub changed if necessary or trade in for the prop you need if your rebuilder takes trade ins.
