The no-bolt cone on my 250 takes a short hub propeller. A search will tell you how to measure your shaft to be sure which one it is.

OEM props are more expensive, but Amita will work with a little extra effort getting the bendy tabs secure.

I put an Amita Plus on my big heavy houseboat - it was a challenge but so far I'm happy with the results.

so if i have a prop off a 280 leg that has a bolt in the cone. I could use that prop on the 270 leg if the shafts are the same shaft size. and i use a non bolt cone

The shafts are the same length, the question is, is there a hole in the shaft for the cone with the center bolt?
There is different prop hardware for different types of props.

Re: prop cone with no bolt(school me please)

This confused the heck out of me too. Here's what I think I know:
AQ props come in short (standard) hub and long hub. This kit can be used to attach either prop.

Use the cone, bendy tab and fat spacer for the short hub. Use the cone and bolt (or sometimes the cone and bendy tab) for the long hub.

If you can get the 280 prop on the non-bolt 270 and secure it with the bendy tab, you're good to go - just forget about the hole in the end of the cone (if it has one). I believe you can configure a short hub on either shaft, but cannot get a long hub prop on a shaft designed for a short hub.
