My last post attempt didn't work for some reason, so I'll try again...

My recently purchased boat (27 ft cuddy) is equipped with twin Mercruiser 330's on Alpha 1's with a 1.32:1 ratio. The boat's weight is about 6,000 and I'm less than 600 ft altitude.

I see a mention of a prop calculator. Can someone direct me to it?

The props on the boat now are Quick Silver Laser II's.

Here are the numbers from the Port prop:

FC QUICK SILVER 48 16545 A41 21P

I have learned a great deal from this forum so far and am thankful everyone is so willing to help a "newbie"...

Re: Prop (don't)know-how

Just a personal problem here, but I have serious issues about that style of boat with Laser II's....That prop is best suited to high engine mounting height and 50mph and up...

Kenny is right.

What rpm's are you getting at wide open throttle?
