prop for 1973 envinrude mate 2

Hi guys.

I have a 1973 envinrude mate 2 engine and i need a new prop as i have broken a fin on the original.I have ordered and recieved the prop replacement but seems to me like it wont accept the prop cltch and the prop hub which is a part of the gearcase assembly like the original.My question is can i modify it to fit or is there something that i am missing .If anyone knows where i can find another origianl prop your help will be greatly appreciated.Thanks

The prop hub is NOT part of the gear case. Just the out put shaft that has splines on it. The old hub may be seized to the shaft and the old hub came apart when you pulled the prop off. If thats the case you need to get the old hub off before you can install the new prop.
The old style has a pressed in rubber hub in the prop with the splines inside that. A new style will have hard plastic drop in hub and a different style nut.

Hi,

I got the new replacement prop but no hard plastic drop in hub or the different style nut?Could you be kind enough to tell me where i can these parts?Part numbers? Any help would b appreciated
