Prop for 1973 Evinrude 25hp

Does anyone know where I can get a new prop for my 1973 Evinrude 25hp? It does NOT have thru hub exhaust. I dont know what pitch it takes, or diameter either, but maybe someone here will know this kinda stuff.

These are widely available, including new ones from Michigan Wheel. iBoats doesn't seem to carry the old props, but other suppliers do.<br /><br />You do need to know the diameter and pitch. I would guess 10 3/8 x 12 would be about right for that engine.<br /><br />There are about 20 Evinrude/Johnson props right now on eBay. Many of the old shear-pin props will interchange on different engines. Go to eBay and search "Johnson prop*".

I have a 1975 25 evinrude it came with a 9x10 bought a 9x11 and got a little better top end but lost on take off kind of a trade off both props preform well

Hello,<br /><br />I was just looking through the link provided. I have seen some really high prices on props and wondered what the diff. is in quality?? I really dig the link now if the quality is there I am ready to buy! Thanks Brad, Trish and kids
