Looking for a stainless steel Prop for my 50 hp 1990 Force. What would be the best size and or brand to put on.
The prop that is on now seems very small. Just wanting to upgrade without impeading power and performance...Thanks...jas....

Have a 1990 16 ft Alluminum Blue fin. We will be pulling a tube, and doing some fishing.

Decent boat, but I think your motor is going to struggle a little.

Instead of spending big bucks on a stainless prop, I would opt for 2 or 3 aluminums, in a variety of pitches. One for cruising, one for tubing. The performance gain from the stainless is going to be hard to find with that boat and motor. If you had a 90hp on it, I'd say go for it.

Yes, the prop on that motor is a small diameter, but you can't do much about that.

I'm not familiar with your boat, but FWIW, I have a '91 Force 50 with original prop, and we have no problems pulling the kids in tubes and even on waterskis from our 15' fiberglas Trophy. I'm 5-11 and 190 lbs., and can get up on parabolic skis, although I don't pop up as quickly as I do with a more powerful boat. You wouldn't want to use it for hard-core skiing, but for general use with kids it's fine. Tubing should be even easier, because you don't need the quick starts that you need for skiing.
