Prop for 1995 15HP Merc

Looking to get a spare prop for my 1995 15HP merc outboard. <br /><br />It currently has one on it, I assume the one that came with it when bought new.<br /><br />Does anyone have the specs on what prop should be used for it? Dia, pitch, splines, etc.<br /><br />Also I am using the motor to push my 12' flat bottom jon boat. Is there a better prop I should be using other than the stock one?<br /><br />Thanks,<br /><br />Michael

This should be close to the correct pitch. On those little motors, there isn't much available as a "Power Prop". A regular old aluminum prop will do ya fine. <br /><br />3 Blade 9" X 10-1/2" RH #032050 MICHIGAN MATCH<br /><br />You could get a Mercury Quicksilver prop(#MC 828158A12) at the link below, as well as the Michigan prop. I don't know that one is better than the other. If it were me, I would probably go for the Quicksilver prop! Good prices, too.<br /><br /> web page
