Prop for 2002 Tracker Pro DV-16 with 40ELPTO

Looking to purchase new prop for my 2002 DV-16 with a 40 ELPTO. I was curious to know what prop others with the same boat and motor are getting the best top speed from. I just purchased the boat and the prop on it now is 13 x 26. When I went to purchase a spare prop I was told by Tracker that the boat called for a 10 3/8 x 14 prop. Before I buy a new prop I thought I would get some opininos. Again, I would be looking for top speed.

Don't know what is suppose to be on there but sure not a 26 pitch. The motor must be lugging pretty bad. I suspect the Tracker people are close. Do you have a tach?

My boat was at my parents house and my dad thought the gear ratio was the propeller size. He gave it to me over the phone. After visiting BPS I realized that was the gear ratio. I ran the boat with current prop which is marked 48-816704A40 and my tach read 5200 at WOT. The max rpm for the motor is 5500. My speed was 21 mph by myself with a full tank of gas. I now have to find out what pitch prop is currently on the boat. I'm curious to see if I can squeeze a few more mph out of her since I have 300 RPM to play with before hitting my WOT RPM max or to leave as is. Any thoughts?
