Looking for a prop for my 89 225 Johnson .it's gonna be pushing a 21 foot Sea Ray center console. Not really looking for record speed, just something good all around pitch and size. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

I concur about the 19" pitch as a good starting point

Going to stainless on that size boat is more bling than bang.

Buy aluminum to get you going. Once you have performance numbers you can look at going to stainless.

Use the aluminum as a spare

Just remember swapping to a stainless, depending on how much more of a performance prop the stainless is, can mean more testing and retesting to again get optimum performance. Not all Stainless props are equal, some are very good and some don't even make good buoy anchors
