I bought a 1994 sunbird with a 115 evinrude from low elevation and it just doesn't run steady. Local boat shop said first thing they do before re-jet is swap props. It's a 14x17 and at WOT hardly hit 4900 with 450lbs of humans. What would be the appropriate prop? I just use it to fish and putt around with family. Maybe try pulling a small tube.

Nit enough info. Boat model/weight? Engine wot rpm range? Etc. Easy enough to try a 15p prop.

sunbird 170 corsair dry weight listed as 1490lb. I remember looking up that for a 1994 evinrude 115 wot should be 5500-5700
