I have a 21 ft fiberglass cuddy cabin boat. Not sure on the weight, but I don't think it is on the heavy side. It has been rebuilt with new stringers/transom/deck, so no waterlogged foam here. I haven't measured the deadrise, but I am guessing 17 degrees or so. I have a rebuilt MC 165 and mercruiser outdrive. The original prop was pretty beat and had no numbers that I could decipher pitch from. I just put on a 4 blade 17 pitch prop, and could only get 3800 rpm, too low. What is the next prop for me to try (it is a Hustler with hub kit), I would like to stay with 4 blade. I believe they make a 15" dia 15" pitch prop. I think that would get me enough rpm to be happy. The other options are going to one of their 3 blade offerings, would a 3 blade 16" pitch get me my rpm?
