Hi there,
I know there is a spot on here somewhere for specific prop info but I can't seem to find it. I have a 19' Wellcraft 192 Classic cuddy cabin. On average I have 2 to 4 average size people along. Sometimes we pull a tube or skier. I am looking to get the smoothest ride first and then best speed. Any and all info is greatly appreciated.

Happy 4th!!

Thanks...

You're on the correct forum.
ESSENTIAL DATA REQUIRED
When posting a question about propellers, you cannot get a reasonable answer unless you provide the following information in your post: Items 1-4 are essential for meaningful response to most questions.
1) Performance issue you are trying to correct.
2) Current prop manufacturer, model, aluminum or stainless and as a minimum.
3) Current prop diameter and pitch (required).
4) Wide open throttle RPM and speed with an average load (very helpful)
5) Engine/drive make, model, year, and HP
6) Boat make model, year, length and weight

Re: Prop for Merc 470

I had a merc 470 on my 81 Webbcraft. It was a heavy old boat at about 3000 pounds. I could run a 21 pitch with a light load but for everyday use with passengers and watersports the 19 pitch was the best.

Good luck!
