I need a new prop for a 1994 Chaparral 2130 Sport. It has the 350 Magnum and looking for suggestions what prop would work best. I've never bought a prop before and have no idea.
Thank You.

Look for the numbers on your current prop. It will have diameter and pitch. If you liked the way it performed, buy another one with the same pitch. If the motor did not rev up to max with a light load, get a lower pitch. If it overreved, get a higher pitch. Figure +- 400 RPM per 2 inches of pitch.

I have looked all over my current prop and can't find any numbers. I haven't taken it off so maybe there are some inside. It runs about 4800 RPM at WOT and about 50 MPH. Currently a 4 blade stainless steel. I've been looking and does a 14 inch seem about right? It got the ends bent from hitting rocks during a storm.01 prop.jpg02 prop.jpg

Did the prop hub survive? Did your gearcase survive? When a SS prop is that bent, other damage will occur.

Prop numbers could be under prop nut or on rear of prop.

I’d say you’ve hit the bottom with all the blades being bent there. Check the hub kit out too. Hopefully it’s done it’s job and sacrificed itself.
