Prop free play.

Hi everyone!
Not sure if this is the correct forum to post this question. How much free play, [ability to slide forward and backward on the prop shaft] if any, should the OEM rubber hub prop slide upon the propshaft with the prop nut properly torqued?

With a good and the correct thrust washer on the prop shaft, and with the correct spacer under the (nut and washer), there should be NO free play or forward to backward movement of the prop on the prop shaft. It is necessary to have a spacer of about 3/16 inch between the nut, washer, and prop hub.
