Prop got nicked!

I was out this week and ran my strendrive into some sand. I got a nick on one of the three blades of my aluminum prop. After running the rest of the day, it seems to have almost disappeared? A guy on the lake told me that the sand and other crap in the water probably wore it off. But the edge seems a little sharp. Can I use some emery cloth to take the edge off??

Sure you can smooth out small nicks just take into consideration balance of the prop and if any blades are bent.<br /><br />Bob
