I pulled this number off the prop 48 773499A4c<-this is backwards 17P . Im wanting to to buy an stainless prop. I am satisfied with the rpm @ WOT now so dont want to change pitch.
i am assuming 17P is a 17 pitch???? anyone???
even if you have any prop suggestions would be great!

If your rpms are close to where you want them I would stay with a 17 pitch. and if you need to lower your max rpm you need to go up in pitch not down.

If you have a 17p now and your running 5500 at wot. Then a 15 Stainless is what you need.
A 19 will make your engine drop rpms and you won't get full rpms.J

I also own one of these motors and I need a new prop. Does this boat run a standard rotation prop? My boat is down in Kentucky and I forgot to check before I headed home! This is the first time I've had to replace the prop.
