Prop Help

I have a Mercury 1985 50hp 4 Cyl 2 carb, Serial 9352400<br /><br />I need a new prop, but i am looking for one that will make the boat go that little bit faster with weight on boat. I have a 13' RIB with power tilt.<br /><br />On looking at the prop on there, the numbers i can find are 48 73136 A40L 13P<br /><br />any help would be grateful

To get there we have to know where we are now.<br /><br />To create this map we need to know your current top rpm's with average load and speed. Also a bit about the current prop and what you are looking for. Has this prop ever been reworked? Are you looking for a stainless replacement or aluminum?<br /><br />Once you post the numbers we can calculate slip %.<br /><br />Good luck!
