I need help with prop selection. I have a 1997 Stratos 258 with a Yamaha F70. I’ve tried a 13.25 x 17 prop and rpms around 6000-6200 and only able to get about 32mph (gps). Would a 19 pitch be too much?

Going to guess your max RPM rating is 6k. I'd say same prop material and mfgr, type, yes you should be fine and pick up a couple MPH. Other unknowns, but generally speaking. Hole shot will slow down slightly but no idea how fast it is currently....besides time may be irrelevant to you.

Max rpm is 6200. It gets on a plane pretty quick. This is my third boat. re-powered a couple of years ago and never been happy with top speed. Yamaha states operating rpm are 5300-6300

If your 17 is a SS prop have some extra cup added and you will pick up about 1MPH and drop RPM and get a lil more lift.

Good idea. I find myself tending to play with things thinking maybe I can get/do this or that. If you have the time and money, so be it. Gotta know "When to hold and when to fold, when to walk and when to run"....(Kenny Rogers...The Gambler).

Unfortunately it sounds as if you need moar HP to get what will make you happy. If WOT is right up near top of operating specs, then to get noticeable difference in top speed will require too much pitch adjustment to where your acceleration will be pretty bad...sorry.
