I have twin stainless props that I thought were a matched set. However, it seems that is not the case.

The port side (counter rotating) has stamped on the hub 13 3/4 X 17 - ML
The starboard side has stamped on the hub 13 3/4 X 17 - M

Q1
The marina and prop shop has mostly maintained the boat so I am just wondering why would the same prop have different hubs and is that a problem?

Q2
The props do not fit the same onto the propeller shaft as it seems the hub on the starboard prop may have been pushed in or compressed. Looking from the back you can see that the port side hub is flush on the front. The starboard hub is flush in the back. Are one of these hubs bad?

Perhaps props were manufactured as a tri motor set L, M,R. The middle may have been the one with the right hand turn needed for yor dual configuration so no big deal.
Why it fits/looks different is a question for installers.

It is possible that one of them has had the hub replaced. How long have you owned the boat?
