Where is the part # located on the prop.<br />I don't seem to be getting alot of top end speed and want to determine which prop I am running.<br /><br />Thanks
They do not put the part numbers on the prop, but they do have the pitch number located on the backside of one of the blades. It is usually located inside of a small circle.
See the online owners manual: http://www.nissanmarine.com/tech_talk/pdf_files/Nis40C.pdf section 10, page 47, has the Nissan prop choices. I have only run Nissan props on my 18E (haven't found any aftermarket). My 40C, needs a new prop, and I have been looking at the Hustler 2 piece (here on iboats) and the Michigan Wheel 2 piece, that is compatable with mercury's 2 peice. Haven't decided yet.
