would anyone explain what the difference is between the early model Mercruiser drives and the later Alpha 1's......I am looking for a spare prop...see lots for 83 up alpha 1's was wondering what it would take to run prop on early model ie. 1977 120 mercruiser with 1A outdrive I think.....thanks for your help ....
