On my 150, i put the prop on it today, however it feel like it rubs somewhere, with the prop off the shaft turn smooth, could i be missing a bushing somewhere, I only had the brass bushing, nut, and nut cap w/ cotter pin that goes on the end of the shaft. Is there a rubber bushing between the prop and shaft into the housing.
Thanks

Re: Prop is binding somewhere

Sound like you are describing the prop hardware on the outside of the prop. Make sure you have the correct forward brass thrust bushing ahead of the prop. If you don't see a forward thrust bushing on the shaft, check the inside of the prop, as these can sometimes come off and remain nested in the prop itself. 321173 is the standard forward thrust bushing. If you don't have a forward thrust hub, the prop will rub the gearcase housing and do serious damage. A side note: When the prop is pressed onto the center rubber hub, it is an inexact press fit. It is not unusual for part of the prop to rub the inner lip of the gearcase housing slightly.
