prop issues

hey everyone so i have a 115hp 4stroke mercury with command thrust on a 19ft pontoon. I recently replaced the prop from a black max to a turning point hustler. Both are 3 blade aluminum 15 1/2 diameter and 15pitch. New prop wont go over 14mph and slip at higher rpms. Old prop had a plastic ring on the outside of the prop where it goes into the the gearbox. New prop did not come with one and old one does not fit right. New prop also has vent holes.

You don't need vent holes on a toon....

TP does market a variety of Hub Kits as well. Some Props do have the Rings, allows them to be used on a larger group of Gear Housings.
