Prop lost--CHECK

Today I add another experience. This was the 1st time I've lost a prop (on a small boat). The weird thing I was running steady at 1,400 RPM in a no wake zone on a tour of Newport Harbor.

We rowed to a nearby beach and I put on another prop, washer, and cone. The rest of the day was idyllic in the sun.

I am as guilty as anyone but we should have a short check list before we go out, I have gotten burned on loose lug nuts before and a motor that wouldn't start because of a cracked gas line.

All easy things to fix in the drive before you leave if you catch them, same as you I just add thuing to look at before I leave.
