Yeah. Needs a real look. Especially a bravo 2. Not always, but depending on the prop, they can occasionally be hard splined to the drive shaft on a bravo 2. Or at least, their hub damping set up, is less forgiving than others, at its best. No flo torq hub in those drives. Just a flexible or damped hub at their most forgiving. Least, some may have had hard splined prop fitted.

could be coupling, could be drive shaft, could be gears, could be u-joints, could be something messed up during the work that was done

pull the boat and start investigating

trim hydraulics have nothing to do with driveline

failures happen without warning

driveshafts dont instantly come out of alignment. they do require an annual inspection of alignment as part of the annual service.
and its broken now.

time to pull it back out
Hahah it is what it is, had a mechanic come out and diagnose the issue. Seems to be coupling assembly

Have been told engine will have to come out to replace the coupling assembly. Hopefully the marina pulls through with an availability for a slip

I would do both.

couplings fail from failure to do an annual alignment inspection and u-joint inspection. since you have twins. if one failed, the other is close to failing.
