Prop paint

I'm replacing the props on my inboard Carver with props recommended by my prop shop. The replacement is necessary to download the engines and better achieve loaded WOT. Since the prop shop is estimating the proper pitch it may be necessary to repitch or add some cup if I'm slightly over or under propped. I want to paint the props with prop speed but this is expensive paint and if I find it necessary to re-pitch the paint would be removed for re-pitching. Since I plan on hauling the boat this winter for a bottom job I want to paint the props now with a temporary cheaper paint that will protect them until I can apply prop speed this winter.
Any Suggestions?
