Prop pitch on Merc 8hp outboard

Got a new (2003) outboard here from i-boats.com (It is VIRTUALLY brand new too - that's the sales pitch) - excellent service/shipping/product. I expected less but they came through...<br /><br /><br />That said, I'm putting this on a bathtub racer, and we're debating rules - higher pitched props etc........for "Stock" class.<br /><br />Does Mercury at this point make a prop that will give me a higher top end that is still factory stock?<br /><br />I don't know what the stock 3 bladed prop pitch is.<br /><br />Tx, and FYI this is a bathtub racer - anyone interested visit my site and I'll get you hooked on the sport http://www.tngbbs.com/bathtubracing <br /><br />O'brien - this one's for you!<br /><br />
