Prop pricing

I’m looking at getting a new prop. The part number is 3862462. I see on iBoats they are selling it for $519.00 with $10.76 for shipping. I googled my part number and found it at boat owners world for $340.00 with $23.11 for shipping. So it’s either $529.76 with iBoats or $363.11 at boat owners world. Am I missing something or is this just a really good deal? Should I be cautious of getting the better deal?

Not necessarily, but you shop the way you feel most comfortable..
I always do!

Keep in mind though...
You can call iBoats... They do have a price match policy..
Give them a call, and give details.

Either it's not the same part, or if it is, they should price match and you'll know it's from a trusted source.

I'll add, I don't know the whole price match policy, but it's certainly worth the phone call to ask about it.. :)

Buy it from the cheaper place. $519 is full retail on that prop. You’d pay that price at a boat dealer. I’d never pay full retail on a mail order item.

Looks like iBoats matched the competitor prop price and shipping price. You lost on shipping but saved a bunch on the prop.

Did you try to use the forum discount to knock off another 5%?

No I did not, I didn’t know about that. I’m really happy with the money I saved though.
