I'm guessing loaded she weighs 1500 pound, 1985 15' 6" marlin bow rider Deep V, it's equipped with a I/o omc 2.5 120 hp engine, and omc 400 stringer outdrive.
should I run the 15 X 17 Stainless prop, or It came with an Aluminum 13 3/4 X 15 prop (what should I run for speed?) This is my first boat & learning as I go.

(MPH)?
I need the wot rpm range for this boat/motor?

Has anybody heard of this boat? What are Marlins pros n cons?

I greatly appreciate if you answer any of my questions Thanks, pipefitter-123

Ayuh,... You need to run whatever prop that allows that motor to turn about 4200/ 4600rpms at WOT.....

I don't know about Marlins in general, but the 1 you have, has the Least desirable outdrive there is....

Read how to get the most from your Q at the top o the page,Get us the present prop size and the max rpm and speed. That is a little I/O
There is a 15 1590lbs and a 16 1620.I'm surprised by your prop sizes.OMC must use different ratios than Mercruisers.
