I recieved a new prop a couple of weeks ago and need to know what I should do. Here is the story.
I have a 2007 18'6" Stratos 486SF with a 150 EFI Mercury engine. I am currently running a 23p tempest prop and my RPM's are going in the 5600 range. The problem is the engine I have the max RPM range should be between 5000 - 5500 range. Should I try another blade (possibly a 4 blade) or should I not be too concerned with the 5600 rpm range?
