1982 70 HP Johnson<br /><br />Should there be any play once prop has been install?<br />My prop has about 1/8 inch movement. Should I remove the cotter pin and tighten the nut untill prop has no more play?<br /><br />Also have poor hole shot when trying to pull 2 adults on tubes, but pulls well once gets going. The<br />prop has been rebuilt so can not see any markings on it. How can I tell what prop I have and if I should change props? The engine seems to have decent top end 30mph tested with GPS.
