So I have a 30' Sundancer with twin 4.3's...... Can't really get to WOT rpm.... I can get to about 4200 rpm
I have stainless 4 blade with 17 pitch.... with a full load I have a bit of an issue getting on plane..
If I were to go to a 15 pitch will that help me get on plane with a big load? With a light load I have no problems, but still can't get to 4400-4800..
Just repowered, so I am confident there are no engine issues....
I am not sure how much this would effect the cruising speed, or rpm to stay on plane... I am going to stay with the 4 blade props, but probably go to aluminum...
Any feedback is appreciated.

I would suggest ditching the 4 blade 17 and get 3 blade 17.

Just so we're clear, you're taking about the boat, right?

Many I know go with the big 16x16 props for similar applications. Probably not Performance orientated but they will sure get the rpms up and fire you out the hole.
